Named for the pioneering spirits of Artemisia Gentileschi and Tamara de Lempicka, our gallery continues their legacy by supporting artists who own their gaze and define their own terms.

Our Founder

ARTEMARA was founded by Roza Miechovska, a curator & collector with a lifelong immersion in the art world. Her practice is informed by:

• Education in art history and the art market from institutions like Christie’s Education and The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
• Art training at institutions including the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) and Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw.
• Professional experience managing a leading artist’s gallery and working directly with artists on exhibition production.
• The dual perspective of a dedicated collector and an artist-ally, having been mentored by and interned for established artists throughout her career.

This unique background synthesizes scholarly rigour, market understanding, and a profound respect for the creative process—forming the foundation of ARTEMARA’s ethos.
